Ch'en knew Wendy did not like the shrine, so she took her back to the dormitory and settled her in before making her way to the shrine.

Normally, Kallen had very little presence. After all, her job was simply to sit at the shrine entrance and watch everyone who wanted to enter. Most of the time, she only watched and did nothing else.
