An invitation from Laterano.
After confirming it several times, Hoshino finally believed it was real.
"Aren't you isolated from the world?"
Hoshino asked incredulously, "You even built towering walls specifically to keep the outside world apart. You're so aloof, so why would you suddenly be interested in inviting guests over?"
"Um... I'm just here to relay an order."
Fiammetta said awkwardly.
She did not know much, but she knew of Durandal's accomplishments and thus had no reason to doubt it.
Yet there had been similar achievements before. Hoshino had once restored Kazimierz as Bright Knight: Excelsis, with Emperor and Queen as her two stand-ins. Logically speaking, if they had noticed her, they should have noticed her back then.

She did know a little about the Pope who had only recently taken office, but the one who had invited Durandal... supposedly, he had established Laterano's first marker and raised its first wall. He was a great figure who had taken it from zero to one.
Not all Popes were the same.
"I don't know."
Fiammetta scratched her head helplessly.
Hoshino had not expected to get any intelligence from Fiammetta in the first place, so she was not too disappointed by that answer.
"Did you come all this way just to deliver a message?"
She shifted her attention to a less important matter. "It takes at least half a month to travel across mountains and rivers. Aren't you making things difficult for yourself, coming all this way just to pass on a message and then turn right back?"
Fiammetta scratched her
