Arknights, but the family has fallen into decline again and again and again
Author: Firehouse Hermit
Synopsis:
With the cheat ability of Darkest Dungeon, Doc Otter arrived in Terra, a world of animal-eared girls.
By equipping trinkets, Oute could establish mental links with heroes, enabling precise maneuvers like shifting a Sniper Operator five centimeters to the left...
Or forcibly breach mental barriers and seize anyone's body!
Clearly the protagonist, yet he lived like a villainous Boss...
Hey, wait? The cheat ability was Darkest Dungeon?
Without a "1" at the end?
Then never mind.
The protagonist and the Boss were the same person. Was that unusual?
Not at all.
Marks shaped like an iron crown were stamped across Terra in the wake of Rhodes Island's landship.
Looking back, Oute could not help but sigh...
There was a certain shark who had once mistaken him for the "Lord of All Things," then occasionally pretended to relapse after regaining her senses just to take advantage of him; a certain orca who looked cool but was actually foolish, and somehow sold herself to him in a muddle; a dragon girl seeking redemption; a bomb maniac who said one thing and meant another; a bread machine that was too early for its time; and a swift eagle teacher with a collar, tightly bound all over...
Meanwhile, Kal'tsit made a hand-grip-meter gesture from afar. A bread machine, huh?

Priestess Will Always Be My Wife! What About Specter?
Tap, tap.
Boots struck the floor of this level with a pleasant rhythm. Two jade-white feet, tightly wrapped in sheer black stockings and knee-high boots, slipped through the split skirt of a nun's habit in alternating steps.
Higher up, traces of pale, creamy skin appeared and disappeared beneath the robes of the nun's dress, forming a landscape different from the absolute territory, yet no less alluring.
At the end of the corridor, Specter, dressed in a nun's habit, staggered forward with a silent circular saw in hand.
"...Lord of All Things... I will finally see you..."
Scout was the first to disembark from the transport aircraft. He called out, "Please notify the Medical Department. Quite a few of the boys will be bedridden for ten days to half a month!"
"Ah..." Jessica said timidly, "I'll go notify them right away..."
"Oh! Thank you!"
"No need to notify us! We're already here!"
Almost the entire Medical Department had mobilized, along with quite a few Guard Operators.
"Huh? That was fast." Scout was somewhat surprised.
Warfarin shouted, "Scout! Ace! Hurry and restrain that nun!"
A nun?
Oute poked his head out.
The white-haired, red-eyed nun slowly knelt before Oute. Only from Oute's position could one see Specter's plump thighs fully exposed beneath her nun's robes, pressing against the black-stockinged calves that faintly revealed the color of her skin, forming an enticing shape.
The nun lowered her head, her fingers interlocked before her chest. With a peace and joy, a serenity that no one on Rhodes Island had ever seen from her before, she said, "The Lord of All Things has descended upon this world."
Ace adjusted his sunglasses. "This nun?"
For obvious reasons, not many people knew Specter before she was formally deployed onto the battlefield. Even after she officially became an Operator, only those who had appeared with her on the battlefield would come to know her well—to recognize this powerful warrior who had no choice but to live in seclusion.
Scout and Ace stood there, completely blocking the transport aircraft's exit.
"Ace! Scout! Please move away from the exit. Don't block the injured... Huh!?"
Amiya had seen the nun as well.
"Miss Specter?" As Rhodes Island's highest-ranking leader in terms of procedure, Amiya naturally had access to Specter's files.
The nun quietly knelt before Oute, making Oute, whose expression had been solemn from the pain, seem as though he had been bathed in some strange divinity.
"Ahem. Specter? Are you all right?" Oute bent down and gently stroked her cheek.
Specter raised her head slightly, a faint blush on her lovely face. Her lips parted a little, and from Oute's angle, the indoor lighting happened to cast the depths within in a rosy pink.
With the nun's breathing, that private space meant for eating opened and closed slightly, as if drawing in Oute's soul.
The nun gazed at Oute's face, her fingers still interlocked, maintaining the posture of kneeling prayer.
Yet her actions were exceedingly indecent.
Specter took Oute's index finger into her mouth, making a suggestive sound.
"Mmm..."
A soft, wet sensation rushed up from Oute's nerve endings, while Specter mumbled, "Lord of All Things! Thank you... mm!"
Oute's whole body stiffened.
"Miss Warfarin, please take Miss Specter back to her ward! Miss Aak, stay behind. The rest of the Medical Department, please return and prepare medical supplies!"
The little donkey's face was bright red as she urgently gave the orders.
With an alluring pop, Specter's little mouth reluctantly released Oute's index finger.
So it was Warfarin following the little donkey's reckless orders, interrupting a good thing!
Damn Warfarin!
As Warfarin dragged Specter away, her delicate nose twitched as if she had caught the scent of some earthly delicacy.
"Lord of All Things! Please calm your anger, your nun shall..."
After coming into contact with Oute, Specter seemed to have calmed down as well. She was almost obediently dragged away by the vampire. Even as she was taken away, that strange prayer still lingered in everyone's ears.
Oute looked at his index finger, still connected by silver strands, with a strange expression.
Amiya immediately wiped it clean with a tissue, but Oute could only feel somewhat... regretful.
Scout shrugged and nudged Oute with his elbow. "Doc Otter, Amiya is already different from how you remember her..."
Only halfway through, he realized what he had said. After falling silent for a moment, he said, "...Sorry."
"Ahem! There's nothing to apologize for." Oute rubbed his chest, and the pain seemed to have eased considerably.
"The fact that you can casually talk to me like this means I'm more or less the same as before I lost my memory, doesn't it?"
A smile appeared at the corner of Scout's eyes. He shook his head.
"Doc Otter, you didn't used to take care of people like this."
Oute smiled back, but thought, So next... with the old lynx away, should I find time to go back to my room and rest for a while?
PRTS's calm voice came through Oute's earpiece. "Doc Otter, your room is still being prepared."
Ah, that voice—my wife. A sudden sense of immorality rose within Oute. Yet rising alongside that sense of immorality was a twisted delight.
It was hard to discern emotion from PRTS's voice, but her choice of words had clearly changed. "Miss Amiya will next arrange work assignments for the entire ship. Dr. Oute, would you prefer to accompany Amiya first, or would you prefer to..."
She had deliberately used the distant forms of address, Miss Amiya and Dr. Oute.
Oute hurriedly tried to appease her in his mind: I still want to eat you first.
PRTS immediately became cheerful again. "...First come with me and familiarize yourself with Rhodes Island?"
Oute spoke again. "Ahem! Amiya, handle the current situation. I'll familiarize myself with Rhodes Island first."
PRTS said, "A wise decision, Doc Otter."
"Huh!? Doc Otter!?" Amiya reached out as if to grab Oute's collar, only to suddenly realize that this was not a dream.
Oute had already returned, and he would no longer disappear forever like he had in her dreams.
There was no need to hold him back, because he would always be here.
Her gesture turned into an enthusiastic wave as she shouted, "See you on the deck later!"
Oute replied, "Ahem. See you on the deck later."
Then the little rabbit suddenly thought of something else and sent him a private message through PRTS. "Doc Otter, don't take off your hood casually!"
Oute nodded.
He had no racial traits whatsoever. If anyone started digging into that, it would never end.
Watching the lightly wounded soldiers hop energetically out of the transport aircraft, Frostleaf asked Meteorite, "What was that target person again?"
Meteorite looked in surprise at the warm interaction between the Doctor and Amiya, then shook her head. "No, it's nothing. Just rumors."
She thought, The Doctor and Amiya are clearly just like an ordinary father and daughter... How could such a father possibly be the kind of person described in the rumors...
Oute silently said to PRTS in his heart, The date begins!
PRTS said excitedly, "Rhodes Island is currently a comprehensive landship equipped with a wide variety of medical facilities."
Oute raised an eyebrow and asked internally, Isn't it an island carrying a bronze statue of the sun god?
In reality... or rather, in history, Rhodes was known for the majestic bronze statue of Helios on the island, as well as its entanglements with the Knights Hospitaller.
PRTS was very pleased by this. She said, "An accurate sarcasm. But the more fitting comparison would be the Knights Hospitaller."
Following PRTS's guidance, Oute continued down the long corridor.
He thought, A knightly order!? A pirate crew! Whether in Constantinople or Costantinije, those shameless pirates came to plunder my coasts!
PRTS picked up the thread. "I am quite certain, Grand Master Oute. You are about to become this place's highest leader."
