The entire gacha interface looked fairly simple. There were no character illustrations, no giant roulette wheel—just a plain pull button.

Texas nodded, then led Bai Ye deeper into the alley.

"Where are we going now?"

Texas still had an injury on her leg, so Bai Ye easily kept up with her pace. About an hour had passed since he had transmigrated, yet he still did not know where he was... Truly the shame of all transmigrators.

Bai Ye lowered his head. From Texas's description, he roughly understood what had happened. In the past, he had only read scattered fragments of it in Texas's operator profile.

"Perhaps it was far crazier than the limits of what ordinary people could imagine."

Bai Ye muttered under his breath. Now, he understood a little of that madness: flames, stray arrows, blades, slaughter. What he had seen when he first woke up after transmigrating was already mad enough, yet that had only been the tip of the iceberg.
