"Hey, Warfarin, I didn't expect you to come out..." Bai Ye greeted Shining, then looked at the Blood Demon lady beside her.

"Hmph... What are you thinking? You make it sound like I'm lazy all the time!" Warfarin bared her sharp little fangs at Bai Ye.

Bai Ye rolled his eyes.

"Isn't that true?"

"Uh..." Warfarin stopped arguing. For some reason, she always felt innately overshadowed whenever she was in front of Bai Ye.

Clearly, Bai Ye was much younger than her, and he did not look nearly as imposing as Patriot...

With that thought, the Blood Demon lady turned toward Mudrock and the others.

"Sarkaz mercenaries, they're my kin—we should look after them. Besides, these children are much better behaved than that little brat W."

Bai Ye raised an eyebrow.

"You've already met W?"

"Of course. I met her as soon as she arrived over ten days ago... She really isn't cute at all."

"And she refuses to cooperate with our examinations, let alone treatment..."

Warfarin sighed as she spoke.

Bai Ye quietly committed this to memory.

"I understand... I'll go find her."

Although W was the leader of those Sarkaz mercenaries, in a sense, Kal'tsit had assigned W to Bai Ye's squad.

That was right, the squad with the incredibly cringe-worthy name, "Azure Star." You could tell from the name alone that it was a squad of utility players.

(The squad had Cuora, the utility player who could hide in her shell and tank everything; Red, the utility player who could drop in to assassinate targets or draw fire; Skadi, the utility player known as Little Melantha, who could drop in and cut down Casters; and so on...)

Giving it that name was Bai Ye's own little indulgence.
