Hayato did not actually know what the Sorcerer Supreme wanted.

There was a ninety percent chance she was here because of the evil aura leaking from Hayato's inner demon and the power displayed by the Chaos Eye. That power might not have been strong, but its quality had shocked the Sorcerer Supreme.

A higher form of power...

She was perhaps Earth's strongest person at this stage, and a renowned powerhouse throughout the universe, yet her mind was in turmoil. The last time she had felt this way was likely when she had dealt with the power of the Dark Dimension.

She believed in order and thought it was best to let nature take its course. Otherwise, with her abilities, she could probably live as long as she wished. That belief allowed her to face her own death calmly.

Yet Hayato, this violent intruder, had once again shrouded the future in fog.

For one brief moment, she had even considered acting to exile Hayato.

She could sense that in just a few days, Hayato had been growing stronger at an astonishing rate—or recovering his original power. Tonight might be her last chance to drive him off Earth.

If she tried later, the price would likely be unbearable.

The most likely outcome was that Earth would become shattered meteors drifting through the universe in the aftermath of their battle.

And when Hayato frankly stated his purpose, the Sorcerer Supreme hesitated even more.

"I will keep my eyes on you." Earth's guardian finally sighed. "Come to Kamar-Taj when you have time. We can talk."

"No problem."

Hayato also wanted to breathe in the fresh air of the Himalayas.

"Do not do anything that endangers Earth. That is my warning."

After saying that, the Sorcerer Supreme opened a portal and returned to Kamar-Taj.
