Liangqiu Xu suddenly sat up and found himself in an unfamiliar space.

Three mottled walls and one empty bookshelf.

No doors or windows.

In the middle stood an antique dark-red table and chairs, with a glazed lamp placed atop it.

The light was dim.

Liangqiu Xu sat on the floor without rushing to get up. Frowning, he vigorously rubbed his temples, which ached as if pricked by needles.

Memories surged back, scene after scene gradually becoming clear. Liangqiu Xu made a simple summary:

—The once-per-half-semester exotic beast hunting event.

—Being surrounded by a large number of exotic beasts.

—Escaping for his life, jumping into a deep pool, and losing consciousness.

—Regaining consciousness in an unfamiliar place.
