Peter was skeptical of Hayato's words.

Hayato did not care.

But Mindy immediately bristled.

"What! Looking down on me?!"

If they had been at school, Mindy would have pulled a handgun straight out of her backpack.

Peter had learned from Dave that Mindy was indeed formidable. Dave was undergoing Big Daddy's training, but on top of that, he also had to serve as Mindy's target.

Or rather, serving as a target was the tuition Big Daddy charged Dave.

"Wait, when did I agree to teach him?"

"Just now."

"Did I?"

"Didn't you? Don't sweat the details. I'll buy you ice cream."

"Hmph!" Mindy sneered and held up two fingers in a V. "At least two."

"Deal."

As they bickered, they left the school, and Peter and Dave gradually got talking.

When Dave learned that Peter was Spider-Man, he jumped up in excitement.

When Peter learned that Dave was Kick-Ass, he pulled out his phone, opened his YouTube account, and bookmarked several Kick-Ass videos.

The two followed each other.

Mindy sighed. "Two useless nerds finally found their tribe. You're beyond saving. Just put you out of your misery already."

"Sheesh, you're way too grown-up for your age..." Hayato could not help rubbing Mindy's hair.

Mindy immediately flung her head back and rammed him. "Asshole, my hair! Where are we going now?"

"Back to the hotel first. We need to change. This shirt, slacks, and dress shoes are uncomfortable, and carrying such an ugly backpack is way too low-rent. How am I supposed to show my face like this?"

Back at the hotel.
