By this point, Loki had basically resigned himself to his fate.
"So... the All-Father did all this for Thor?"
Loki spoke, his tone sour.
Like a child competing with his brother for their father's attention.
The fact that he called Odin "All-Father" rather than something like "Father" was enough to show the resentment in his heart.
Hayato neither confirmed nor denied it.
But he understood why Odin had included Loki.
It was nothing more than an attempt to untie the knot in Loki's heart.
In one respect, Thor and Loki had both been "born to be kings," but Loki could only be the Frost King of Jotunheim. He lacked Asgardian blood and could not inherit or control the Odin Force.
Setting aside the skill and philosophy needed to govern a nation, why was Asgard a paradise envied by everyone in the universe?
It was simple.
No matter how far war spread, the battlefield was almost always somewhere else.
Thus, Asgard remained peaceful and beautiful, and its people lived happily.
But all of that rested upon the protection of immense power.
That power was the Odin Force.
Loki could not inherit the Odin Force, which meant he was destined never to become a true All-Father or protect Asgard.
The laws of survival in the universe were, in truth, brutally real.
They were nowhere near as beautiful as people imagined.
Hayato took Loki to see Thor.
Thor's reaction was, "What the hell?" Then he raised his hammer and aimed it at Loki.
Then he saw Hayato.
Hayato:...
He had clearly been walking in front, so why had Thor noticed Loki first?
Was that what having a brother complex was like?
When Thor saw Hayato, he realized that no matter how cunning or sinister Loki was, he could not pull any tricks.
