"Don't you two think something feels off?"
He turned back to look at Kushina and Uchiha Mikoto.
They each held so many snacks that both hands were nearly full... all bought by him.
"Why is no one charging me? Is everything free today? Then how much would these vendors lose? Is the village subsidizing them?" Hyuga Wuye asked blankly.
"No," Kushina said, slurping down a mouthful of juice as her large eyes narrowed contentedly. "They're only giving you free food. At most, they might include the Three Sannin too."
"Uh, I get that kind of treatment? How strange!" Wuye said in surprise.
Uchiha Mikoto looked mournfully at the armful of snacks in her hands, hesitating.
They were all high in fat. Eating them would make her gain weight...
