"What happened?"
Hyuga Wuye stepped out of the hospital room.
"Before you even returned to the village, the Third Hokage announced victory in the war and began holding celebrations!" Minato Namikaze said with a frown.
Wuye froze for a moment, then laughed in disbelief. "Has he gone mad? Celebrating before the ninja who fought and bled for this war have even returned to the village? He's trying to lose the people's support."
Helplessness flickered through Minato's eyes. "Because the village has basically reached peace agreements with the other four great ninja villages. All that remains is for their delegations to come and sign the final documents."
"So..."
Wuye finally understood. "The Third Hokage used the peace agreements as an opportunity to announce victory in the war?"
"Yes. The entire village is praising the Hokage's achievements," Minato said helplessly. "Looking at it this way, it really seems as if all the credit belongs to the higher-ups."
"And..."
He gritted his teeth and said somewhat awkwardly, "It's not as though the village hasn't praised the
