"Go make dinner."

Hyuga Wuye pointed at the pots, bowls, and utensils he had just taken out. "Use whatever you need."

Terumi Mei pointed at herself in disbelief. "Me? Make dinner?"

"If you don't cook, what are we supposed to eat?" Wuye asked as if it were obvious.

"Soldier pills."

Terumi Mei looked equally matter-of-fact.

"I'm not eating that pig slop," Wuye said.

"Pig... slop?"

Terumi Mei's forehead darkened with black lines.

"Don't you know Boil Release? Cooking should be easy for you, right?" Wuye said.

"Use a bloodline limit for cooking?"

The black lines on Terumi Mei's forehead grew even darker. "And my Boil Release is high-temperature acidic mist. What food wouldn't get corroded?"

"Just go cook for me."

Hyuga Wuye crossed his legs and lay back inside the tent.

"Why should I do it?" Terumi Mei demanded indignantly.

Wuye glanced at her. "Playthings have no human rights."

Terumi Mei: "..."

"Bang! Crash! Sizzle!"

Half an hour later, Hyuga Wuye's entire set of pots, bowls, and utensils had been blown to pieces across the ground.

"Bang!"

Terumi Mei, her face streaked with soot, lifted the tent flap and walked in. She placed a lump of charred black stuff in front of Wuye. "Dinner!"

Wuye sat up, took one look, and his brain short-circuited for a moment. "What the hell is this?"

"Grilled fish," Terumi Mei said expressionlessly.

Hyuga Wuye poked through the "charcoal" in the bowl. "This is... fish? I suspect you're trying to fool me."

"Can't you see the fish scales are still here?!" Terumi Mei pointed at the bowl.

Wuye's head felt twice as big. "Fish scales? You didn't scale it? Or remove the guts?"

"Scale it? Remove the guts?"

Terumi Mei blinked her pale green eyes, dumbfounded.

"Fine. You eat whatever you made."

Expressionless, Hyuga Wuye
