"Knock, knock, knock..."
Just as Wuye was pondering the future collection of the tailed beasts, a soft knock suddenly came from outside the door.
"Is something wrong?" he asked, lowering his voice as much as possible.
The maid seemed to pause before replying in an equally quiet voice, "Lord Hokage, Hatake Kakashi is waiting for you in the reception hall. He says he has something very important to report."
Wuye froze for a moment before saying, "All right, I understand."
He turned back to look at Kushina, who was clinging tightly to him. After thinking it over, he moved gently, took hold of her little hand, and slowly pulled it away from himself.
Then he shifted backward, intending to get up without waking Kushina.
Unfortunately, just as he moved away from her, Kushina suddenly reached out and felt around.
When she failed to touch his body, she mumbled something and slowly opened her eyes.
"You're awake?"
Wuye smiled faintly and kissed her forehead.
Kushina's consciousness finally returned, and she woke completely. First, she saw Wuye's body, then she fully remembered what had happened the night before.

She suddenly buried her face in the pillow, her small body quietly shrinking beneath the blanket.
Wuye laughed at her adorable reaction and stroked the back of her head. "Kakashi has something to discuss with me, so I'm getting up first. You can rest a little longer. It's fine even if you sleep until evening. You were too tired last night..."
