"Big sister..."
Wuye rose to his feet, eager to embrace her, but the coolness on his body made him look down. Even someone as thick-skinned as him blushed faintly.
He hurriedly picked up a piece or two of clothing from beneath the bed and put them on, only then feeling somewhat better.
Before Kaguya, he was never quite so casual. He still regarded her with both reverence and love.
"Wuye..."
But before he could finish dressing, Kaguya stepped forward and leaned her light, soft body completely against him.
Her arms tightly circled his waist, her face buried deep against his neck. Her snow-white hair brushed lightly across the tip of his nose, fragrant and ticklish.
Wuye reached out and gently placed his hands on her slender figure, as if he could not quite believe she truly existed, his movements cautious and tender.
Yet the feeling of her in his arms was so clear that he could feel it completely.
His arms suddenly tightened, fiercely pulling Kaguya's soft, fragrant body into his embrace.
"Big sister..."
His whisper seemed to contain too many emotions, overwhelming Kaguya all at once.
She seemed a little at a loss as she raised her lovely face. Her hands lifted to gently caress his cheeks.
Her hands, cool as ice and jade, brought him coolness—and a sense of safety.
"It's all right now..."
Her pure eyes rippled like water, surrounding Wuye. "From now on... I'll never leave you again..."
Wuye took a deep breath, filling his nose with her scent, letting it spread through his entire body.
A surge of strength rose from both body and soul. It was as though he had found an emotional anchor; he was utterly refreshed, without the slightest trace of exhaustion.
"Big sister, being able to see you again, hold you,
