On the way, what Chentian thought about most was who had put a bounty on him.
Among the people who held grudges against him, the only ones who could afford to offer a hundred million were Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo Shimura. He wondered which of them had done it, or whether they had done it together.
He was not someone willing to suffer a loss. He had to get his revenge.
With that in mind, Chentian secretly made a decision.
In less than a day, Chentian arrived at a small town not far from the capital.
He found a luxurious hot spring inn and rented a room. Rather than rushing off to soak in the springs, he turned and left the inn.
Stepping out of the hot spring inn, he looked around and spotted a sushi restaurant.
Chentian happened to be feeling a little hungry, so he went inside and ate something.
The food in the Naruto world was the same as the food of the little island nation in his previous life. Though it did not quite suit his taste, Chentian had no choice.
After all, he was away from home. If he were at home, Kushina's cooking was actually quite good.
As he ate, Chentian realized that he already missed Kushina's cooking, even though he had only been away from home for a few days.
After slowly finishing his meal, Chentian tossed down the money and swaggered out of the sushi restaurant. He found an empty alley and used the Transformation Technique.
His basic Three Body Techniques had already reached perfection. Anyone below Kage level had no hope of seeing through them.
After transforming, Chentian looked at his face in a small puddle on the ground. It was identical to Naruto Uzumaki's face as an adult, and he nodded in satisfaction.
Although Naruto had not been born yet, he was still his future little nephew. Using him to trick people first was not a bad idea.
By the time he returned this time, Naruto would probably already be in Kushina's belly!
At that thought, Chentian smiled. Being the protagonist's uncle actually seemed pretty nice.
After leaving the alley, Chentian first went to the casino.
He wandered around the bustling casino but found no trace of Tsunade.
He casually asked a few gambling addicts, but none of them had any news of Tsunade either.
One of them even muttered, "If I knew where that fat sheep was, I would have gone to make a fortune off her long ago. Why would I still be here?"
After confirming that Tsunade truly was not here, Chentian could not help feeling depressed.
In the original story, Jiraiya found Tsunade in just one week. He had been out for four days already, yet he did not even have a scrap of information. This was ridiculous.
After leaving the casino, Chentian returned to the hot spring inn, quickly stripped himself naked, and entered the hot spring.
Yet the moment he stepped into the water, he saw a scene so enviable that it made his eyes turn red.
Across from Chentian, a middle-aged man with a fierce-looking face was soaking in the hot spring as well.
But behind him crouched a lovely young girl. Her delicate hands moved back and forth over the middle-aged man's back, giving him a massage.
I want that too!
Chentian wailed inwardly, but when he looked at his own little loach at only six years old, he could only abandon that tempting thought.
At the same time, he kept cursing the middle-aged man across from him, wishing that he was gay and that he only had a little loach, and so on.
When Chentian finished washing and left the hot spring, the middle-aged man left at the same time.
Because of what had happened earlier, Chentian could not help taking a few extra looks at the middle-aged man. With those looks, he noticed something interesting.
While the middle-aged man was getting dressed, Chentian saw a forehead protector in his locker. It was from Sunagakure.
If that had been all, it would have been normal enough. But the slash carved across the forehead protector made things interesting.
This man was clearly a rogue ninja from Sunagakure!
At that thought, Chentian became cautious.
He had been wanting to find a bounty exchange and see if he could learn who had put the bounty on him.
Unfortunately, although he had left Konoha several times, he had no idea where bounty exchanges were located and could not find one at all.
Since there was a ready-made lead here, Chentian did not mind asking personally.
At the entrance to a restroom not far from where Chentian was, two men wearing rogue ninja forehead protectors pushed open the door, turned, and entered.
After pushing aside the wooden panel inside one of the restroom stalls, the two entered the bounty exchange.
This was the place Chentian had been searching for, only disguised as a restroom.
Without someone familiar to lead the way, ordinary people truly would not find it easily.
"Xiaohui, have there been any lucrative bounties lately?"
The moment they entered, the two men asked the young woman behind the counter.
The girl looked only seventeen or eighteen, and there was not the slightest fluctuation of chakra from her. She was clearly an ordinary person.
Yet the two ninjas, who were at least Chunin, spoke to her very politely, without the slightest hint of arrogance.
Xiaohui smiled sweetly at them, took out a bounty notice, and placed it on the counter. In a soft, gentle voice, she said, "A bounty of one hundred million. Is that lucrative enough for you?"
"Xiaohui, aren't you just making fun of us? We're only Chunin. How could we possibly be a match for one of the Kage of the Five Great Ninja Villages—!"
Before they could finish, the two saw the photograph on the bounty notice. This was not one of the Kage of the Five Great Ninja Villages at all. It was clearly a child of six or seven.
Though confused, both their eyes lit up.
A full hundred million. If they pulled this off, they would have enough to eat and wait for death for the rest of their lives.
In their excitement, their voices rose slightly as they asked Xiaohui, "Is this really a six- or seven-year-old child? This is a whole hundred million!"
The moment those words came out, the previously noisy bounty exchange fell silent. Everyone turned to look in their direction.
Once they noticed this, the two men knew things were bad. Everyone here now knew, and their chances of claiming the bounty had dropped drastically.
Just then, Xiaohui answered, "Yes. According to our investigation, this child is indeed only six years old."
The bounty exchange instantly exploded into an uproar. A six-year-old child with a bounty of one hundred million was simply too tempting for them.
"Xiaohui, give me a bounty notice!"
"I want one too!"
"Give me one as well! That hundred-million bounty is mine!"
"Bullshit! That's a hundred million! I'm going too!"
Amid the clamor, more than twenty people in the bounty exchange each took a bounty notice and left.
Looking at the bounty notices in their hands, they had already begun considering how they would live extravagantly for the rest of their lives.
Danger? Give them a break. He was only a six-year-old child. At most, he was a Genin—and one without any real combat experience at that!
