Fierce Battle with Steven Stone

"Blastoise, use Water Gun!"

After glancing at Steven Stone across from him, Gary decisively launched the first attack.

Azure energy rapidly gathered in Blastoise's cannons, forming a stream of water that shot toward Aggron.

"Aggron, use Metal Claw!"

Facing the incoming Water Gun, Aggron followed Steven Stone's command and casually used Metal Claw, effortlessly shattering the fierce stream of water without even moving its body.

"So strong!" Gary's gaze sharpened at the sight.

After blocking Water Gun, Steven Stone began his own offensive.

"Stone Edge!"

Aggron slammed its thick left leg hard against the ground, and chunks of rock immediately rose around it.

With a light swing of Aggron's arm, the rocks all shot toward Blastoise.

"Iron Defense, then Gyro Ball!"

Blastoise quickly withdrew its head and limbs into its shell. After a flash of metallic light, it began spinning like a top.

Spinning at high speed, it smashed apart every incoming rock.

Once all the rocks had finished attacking, Blastoise had not suffered much damage.

"Our turn, Blastoise!"

Still in its Gyro Ball state, Blastoise immediately charged toward Aggron.

Yet even after striking Steven Stone's Aggron, it only pushed it back several steps and did not cause it any real damage.

"Catch it!"

Just as Blastoise was about to retreat and cancel its attack after realizing it had been ineffective, Steven Stone's command came.

Aggron immediately extended both claws and grabbed at the spinning Blastoise.

Then, relying on its exceptional arm strength, it forcibly caught Blastoise and neutralized its Gyro Ball attack at the same time.

"This is bad! Use Rapid Spin and break free!"

Seeing this, Gary immediately realized something was wrong and shouted to Blastoise.

Unfortunately, Steven Stone and Aggron did not give Blastoise the time to use it.

"Too late." Hearing Gary's words, Steven Stone smiled faintly. "Aggron, use Hammer Arm!"

Upon receiving Steven Stone's command, Aggron used Hammer Arm, smashing its arm directly into Blastoise's shell and sending Blastoise flying.

It did not stop until it landed in front of Gary.

"Blastoise, are you okay?!" Gary anxiously shouted as he looked at Blastoise before him.

Fortunately, it had strengthened its defense with Iron Defense earlier. Though Blastoise now bore quite a few wounds, it had not completely become Unable to Battle.

"Blastoise!"

At Gary's call, Blastoise struggled to its feet. After crying out to show that it was fine, it turned its gaze toward Aggron again.

This time, though, Blastoise's eyes were filled with ferocity. That blow just now had dealt it considerable damage.

"Aggron, use Rock Tomb!" Steven Stone paid no attention to that and continued directing Aggron's attack.

Aggron let out a roar, and within an instant, several rocks emerged from the ground beneath Blastoise's feet, trapping it firmly inside.

"Blastoise, Iron Defense, then Gyro Ball!"

Seeing Blastoise trapped by Rock Tomb, Gary immediately shouted to it.

Just as Gary finished speaking, the rocks trapping Blastoise shattered from within, and Blastoise emerged in its Gyro Ball form.

Unlike last time, Blastoise did not rush to attack Steven Stone's Aggron. Instead, it began circling Aggron without pause.

Aggron was quite large and therefore rather slow-moving, while Blastoise was fast, so it was unable to catch sight of Blastoise's movements for the moment.

After Blastoise had rolled around Aggron dozens of times, Aggron, which had been on guard for so long, began to feel tired, and its attention suddenly slackened.

How could Gary let such an opportunity pass? He immediately shouted to Blastoise.

"Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!"

Having rolled directly behind Aggron, Blastoise immediately stopped. It aimed all three of its cannons at Aggron, then fired a thick Torrent.

Caught somewhat off guard, Aggron was struck directly by the Hydro Pump, and its entire body was blasted several meters back by the force of the water.

Only after Blastoise's Hydro Pump completely faded did Aggron finally stop, with injuries beginning to appear across its body.

However, Gary did not grow happy and let down his guard. He knew Steven Stone had failed to react just now, allowing the hit to land, because his purpose had been to gauge Mega Blastoise's current strength.

"Quite impressive strength."

Steven Stone's next words confirmed Gary's guess.

Having seen all of Mega Blastoise's strength, Steven Stone felt there was no need for this battle to remain deadlocked.

"Aggron, use Rock Throw!"

At Steven Stone's command, countless stones first appeared around Aggron, then rained down toward Blastoise like Sharp Arrows.

"Rapid Spin!"

Faced with the Rock Throw raining down from all directions, Gary quickly had Blastoise use Rapid Spin to resist it.

Though it initially smashed every rock apart one by one, as the falling rocks increased, Blastoise began to run out of strength. The rocks soon struck the exhausted Blastoise, and the rocks that followed completely buried it.

"Blastoise!" Seeing Blastoise buried beneath the rocks, Gary could only cry out helplessly, but there was not the slightest movement from within.

Just as Gary began worrying about Blastoise's condition, Steven Stone, who had not continued attacking, spoke, drawing Gary's attention to him.
