"Ash, do you know about Slateport City's Sea Mauville?"
The day after the Pokémon Contest ended, while Gary, Rosa, and Hilda were enjoying a delicious breakfast, Ash's group of four, who knew where the three were staying, suddenly appeared before them.
At the front, Ash pointed at the Slateport City guidebook and excitedly called out to Gary.
"Sea Mauville?" Before Gary could say anything after hearing the unfamiliar term, Rosa was the first to cast a curious look their way. "What kind of place is that?"
"Sea Mauville is where Slateport City displays all sorts of things related to the ocean, like models of Pokémon that live in the sea, various ship models, and all kinds of valuable items collected from the ocean."
Faced with Rosa's question, Ash, who knew nothing about it, had no idea how to answer and could only stammer awkwardly.
Fortunately, Max, who always knew a little something, adjusted his glasses and stepped forward to answer Rosa's question in Ash's place.
"I see!"
After hearing Max's explanation, Rosa understood what Slateport City's Sea Mauville was all about.
"Then I'm not interested."
Rosa had no interest in that kind of museum whatsoever, so she rejected the idea without a second thought.
"Aw!" Ash immediately looked disappointed upon hearing Rosa turn him down.
"Then what about you guys?"
Ash and Max then turned their attention toward Gary, Hilda, Brock, and May.
"I'm not interested either. Compared to a museum like that, I'd rather go shopping." Hilda shrugged under Ash and Max's gazes and gave her opinion.
For girls, shopping was the most important thing right now.
"Me too. I still want to check out all the delicious food Slateport City has to offer."
As someone with the traits of a foodie, May found food far more tempting than
