Galar's Legend, Mustard

"Gary, we're going to the Galar region to visit one of Grandpa Oak's old friends?"

Seated aboard the plane to the Galar region, Rosa asked Gary.

"Yes." Gary nodded lightly.

"Could you tell us which of Grandpa Oak's friends we're visiting?" Rosa was quite curious about this.

After hearing Rosa's question, Hilda, seated beside them, also looked over curiously.

"Of course." Gary smiled lightly before explaining, "We're visiting Old Master Mustard."

"Mustard?" Since Rosa and Hilda were not from the Galar region, they had clearly never heard that name before. Both wore puzzled expressions.

"You're not from the Galar region, so of course you wouldn't know." Seeing the confused looks on Rosa and Hilda's faces, Gary shook his head.

"Could you tell us more about him?" Hilda was curious about Mustard, who would be training them next.

"If we're talking about Mustard, then we first have to mention someone else—the current Champion of the Galar Pokémon League, Leon, known as the strongest Champion Trainer of this era." Under Rosa and Hilda's gazes, Gary spoke slowly.

"We know quite a bit about Leon, Galar's Champion."

Rosa asked the key question. "But what does that have to do with Mustard?"

"Could it be..." After thinking for a moment, Hilda quickly came up with an answer. "Mustard is Leon's teacher."

"Hilda guessed right." Gary nodded lightly. "Before Leon became truly famous, Mustard had already taught him."

After pausing, Gary continued, "You could put it this way: without Mustard's guidance, even with Leon's immense talent, his path to becoming Champion would not have gone so smoothly."

"I never expected Leon and Mustard to have that kind of relationship!" Rosa clicked her tongue in surprise.

"Not only that, Mustard once served as Champion of the Galar Pokémon League himself. His strength is formidable." Gary's next
