Serena's First Camping Trip

"This all started with what happened to Ash before!"

Under Rosa and Hilda's questioning, Serena gathered her thoughts and began to tell the story.

Not long ago, Serena had watched the Lumiose City news report about Professor Sycamore's Garchomp going berserk.

Through that incident, Serena had spotted Ash, who saved Garchomp, and thus learned that Ash had come to the Kalos Region.

Having always kept an eye on Gary, Serena quickly understood the moment she saw Ash that Ash had come to challenge the Lumiose Conference of the Kalos Pokémon League.

Based on the information she had gathered before, Serena guessed that Gary would definitely enter the competition. That was why she had the idea of setting out on a journey to meet Gary.

On top of that, her mother Grace had always pushed her into the Rhyhorn Racing she disliked. To avoid being nagged by her mother about it again, she decisively chose to travel.

"So that's why Serena set out on a journey!"

After hearing Serena's explanation, Rosa looked at Gary with a teasing smile. "I have to say, someone's luck with girls is really not bad!

"It's all right, Serena." Seeing Serena's confused state, Gary patiently reassured her. "Since you feel lost, why not travel with us? Maybe you'll find your own goal along the way."
