Chapter Summaries

Ash and his companions traveled toward Alamos Town, where Dawn planned to enter a Pokémon Contest and Gary wanted to see the Space-Time Tower. After taking a wrong turn, they accepted Iris’s offer of a ride in her Hot Air Balloon and finally spotted the tower as they approached town.

• Dawn, Ash, Brock, Rosa, Hilda, and Gary headed for Alamos Town, and Gary explained that he had joined them partly so Rosa and Hilda could see the original Space-Time Tower.
• Ash and Dawn discovered that Brock had led them to a cliff and lake instead of Alamos Town, so the group realized they would have to take a detour.
