"We have other companions?"
Hizashi Hyuga stood frozen in astonishment. All this time, he had thought there were only three of them striving to change the Hyuga Clan's rules. He had never expected Uchiha Yū to have kept something hidden.
Seeing the surprise on his face, Yū had kept Reiko in the dark and, incidentally, tested Hizashi as well. But in his future plans, the Hyuga Clan would be an immensely powerful force, capable of helping Uchiha Yū accomplish many necessary tasks. He patiently explained, "Do you think the three of us can change the current state of affairs? Unless you can grow strong enough to rival the First Hokage, you should honestly accept the clan's arrangements."
"I established an organization called Qiming, to usher in a new tomorrow. Our organization's emblem is..."
He drew an image before him: Qiming's emblem. A radioactive element was emblazoned upon a black strip of cloth, representing nuclear peace for all living things!
"Do not tell Hyuga Reiko about this. And matters concerning the organization must remain secret. In the future, we may come into conflict with Konoha in certain ways."
Uchiha Yū spoke vaguely, his tone carrying a vision one might yearn for. Yet the meaning behind his words sent a chill through Hizashi Hyuga, making him instinctively take half a step back.
The meaning of "come into conflict" was quite subtle.
Perhaps it meant certain matters would run contrary to the village and could only be carried out in secret. Or perhaps they would become rogue ninja, hunted down by the village.
After saying this, Uchiha Yū watched Hizashi Hyuga's expression. Sooner or later, he would have to take this step.
If he could not take it, then he was only fit to be an outside member at best, merely cooperating with
