Bang!
A ball of blazing fire erupted in the center of Hoshigakure. Several explosive tags combined with Fire Release ninjutsu sent the guarding ninja inside into a panic.
"Something's wrong! Lord Star Shadow! We're under attack!"
A ninja rushed in frantically, his body still bearing wounds from the explosion.
"What?!"
Explosions rang out continuously from outside. Star Shadow immediately organized men to stop the attackers' rampage.
He sent two elite jonin over while remaining behind to protect the meteorite. Over the years, there had been petty thieves who infiltrated Hoshigakure to steal the meteorite, but with them guarding it, none had succeeded.
Seeing a group of ninja being drawn out, Uchiha Yū looked toward Kakuzu in the distance and signaled for him to intercept and kill them.
Even though they were merely elite jonin from a small village, Kakuzu did not let down his guard. He displayed his full strength as black threads emerged from his body.
"Secret Technique! Earth Grudge Fear!"
"I hope your hearts can bring me a different kind of experience."
Kakuzu emerged from the shadows. The jonin who had come to stop the invasion saw his face, and having occasionally accepted missions from bounty houses, immediately recognized him.
"Kakuzu! You actually dare attack our village! I'll make you regret this!"
Layers of purple chakra gathered and blocked the two monsters.
Meanwhile, Uchiha Yū led a group directly inside.
"So this is the radiation energy brought by the meteorite."
Yū slowly extended his hand. He could sense a steady Radiation Element. Although its quantity was far lower than his own Radiation Element, its stability could provide unimaginable benefits to ninja. He said to the two people beside him, "Our target is on the claw in the center!"
"Who are you people?!"
Star Shadow watched the three intruders.
