After everyone had left, only three people remained in the council hall. Uchiha Fugaku sat in the center with a grave expression. After thinking for a long time, he slowly said,

Only a very small number of Uchiha Clan members knew that Uchiha Fugaku had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. If he were given the choice again, he would certainly hesitate because of the pain and negative effects brought by that power.
Not everyone was qualified to awaken that legendary power. Even during the chaotic Warring States Era, only a handful of people had managed it.
