Black and White Zetsu emerged from Kirigakure, fury written across his face as he vented bitterly.
"What a bunch of lunatics. I really can't understand what you hoped to gain by leading them out."
Having been threatened to his face once, Black and White Zetsu had no desire to experience it a second time. He continued in a complaining tone:
"They've already agreed to the plan. At midnight, they'll work with us to create chaos."

Uchiha Yū's voice was indifferent. Naturally, he would not reveal that he needed to study the Kaguya Clan's bloodline in order to gain a preliminary understanding of the Ōtsutsuki Clan's abilities through it.
By comparing the differences between various clans and the identical regions within their genes, they could uncover certain strengths and weaknesses of bloodlines. This would be of great help in unsealing Kaguya in the future.
"Since those lunatics have already agreed, then we'll begin carrying out the plan!"
The Tailed Beasts were their true objective. As for the Kaguya Clan, as long as they were not completely wiped out and could continue to survive, Uchiha Yū would have an endless supply of research material.
Following his order, the Akatsuki members put on masks. They were not yet the terrifying organization that made the entire ninja world hate and fear them, but a legitimate organization.
