After leaving Minato a few instructions, Xuanhui departed, satisfied.
When he glanced back, all three children were clutching stacks of books, their faces full of anguish and misery.
Xuanhui had ordered them to read the sociology and psychology books he had given them, then write him a thousand-word response. They were not allowed to phone it in; he would assess them himself.
It was hardly a difficult assignment, but it seemed a little too demanding for children their age.
There was no helping it. Education had to start young.
"Teacher, is there a large-scale genjutsu that can convey a lot of information to someone all at once?"
Orochimaru was sitting in a rocking chair outside the laboratory, enjoying the sunshine and cool breeze.
At Xuanhui's question, he slowly lifted his eyelids.
"As far as I know, aside from a Dojutsu called Tsukuyomi, there doesn't seem to be any genjutsu capable of sustaining such an enormous expenditure."
Xuanhui felt a headache coming on. He scratched his head and turned to leave.
"However, that doesn't mean there's no way."
"I knew you'd have something."
True to his reputation as a scientific genius, Orochimaru quickly came up with an alternative.
"Do you remember the Great Path Seal we worked on back then?"
Xuanhui recalled it without a moment's hesitation.
"You mean the one with nine layers of seals?"
"Yes. Perhaps you could use a Sealing Jutsu to store a segment of genjutsu, then set a trigger point inside the seal.
When that point is triggered, the target will enter the outer layer of the seal, which also contains a segment of genjutsu and a trigger point leading outward.
By dividing it up, you could break a large genjutsu into several smaller ones."
Orochimaru's words immediately inspired Xuanhui. The blockage in his thinking
