Xuanhui opened the door. Standing before him was a middle-aged man in a suit and glasses who looked refined, if a little weathered.
Though his suit was somewhat wrinkled, his tie was neatly knotted.
Even with tiny cracks in his glasses, he kept a smile on his face.
"Hello, are you Mr. Xuanhui?"
"That's me."
The man respectfully offered his hand. Xuanhui understood the gesture, and they exchanged a brief handshake.
"Mr. Xuanhui, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Qingdao Xuefo, the current deputy director of the Konoha South Orphanage!"
"Oh! So you're Mr. Qingdao! Then I know what brings you here today!"
Qingdao Xuefo smiled faintly. Gently holding Xuanhui's hand, he offered a compliment.
"Lord Hokage said you were a clever, polite, and mature child. Having met you today, I can see he was right!"
"You're too kind, Mr. Qingdao. Let's get down to business!
"Oh, and don't call me 'Mr.' It feels too awkward. Just call me little brother!"

The folder's paper covering had yellowed a little. Clearly, it had been in use for quite some time.
