At those words, the many figures kneeling on the ground raised their heads in unison.
Their solemn gazes fixed on the man in rusted armor.
One figure, covered head to toe in green fur and radiating an ancient, terrifying aura, asked, "My lord, do you mean the Savior has entered the Reincarnation Forbidden Land?"
The man in rusted armor nodded slightly. "That's right. He's entered the Reincarnation Forbidden Land. Not only that, he's at Crowning Realm Initial Proficiency, and a whole group of formidable fighters from the Evil Extermination Division came in with him."
The figure who had spoken hesitated for a moment. "Why did he come here? If he's here, it may be difficult to make a move."
The man in rusted armor sneered. "The Reincarnation Forbidden Land has little reputation among the Betrayers because we've always gone through the motions. But this time, we may not be able to carry on as before."
"To Lord Heavenly Demon, this Savior is an insurmountable mountain. Lord Heavenly Demon once said that if the Savior appeared, we were to spare no effort to eliminate him."
"We may have been perfunctory about the tasks Heavenly Demon assigned us in the past, but if we can truly kill the Savior, everything we did before will vanish like smoke."
At his words, every figure present fell silent.
Some among the Betrayers answered the call eagerly. Others did not care and merely drifted along.
They had joined the Betrayers only to find a way through those chaotic times. More often than not, they paid lip service to the tasks Heavenly Demon assigned them while doing something else entirely.
There had been so many Betrayers back then that no one had bothered to hold them accountable.
But ever since they had lost that battle and been
