"Your Highnesses, but..."
The two girls approaching from ahead blocked the group's path. The Team Plasma members exchanged troubled looks, unable to decide what to do.
One girl had pink hair, the other blonde hair; one wore hers down to her waist, while the other had hers in a ponytail. Both wore expressions that brooked no argument.
Their names were Anthea and Helena. They were N's older sisters, as well as the people he trusted most.
The three had grown up together. All were children adopted by Ghetsis, and all possessed the ability to understand Pokémon's inner voices.
N had once naively believed that he and his sisters were people chosen to save the world. He simply couldn't understand why he alone had become the "king."
Now, however, it seemed they had never been chosen at all. They were pawns Ghetsis had deliberately sought out and gathered to carry out his plans. He had chosen N, the youngest at the time, because his mind was the most innocent and untainted. Keeping him close from childhood made him easy to influence and control. By constantly instilling hatred of Trainers in him, Ghetsis could cultivate the purest ideals, then use them to awaken Reshiram as the key force in overthrowing the Pokémon League.
"What? Are you going to defy us? We'll tell Father about this right away!"
At the prospect of punishment from Ghetsis, the Team Plasma members hurriedly shook their heads. "We wouldn't dare! Your Highnesses, we'll leave right away. Call us whenever you need us."
Once they had gone, Anthea raised her hand and tossed out a Poké Ball. After Alakazam appeared, she used her ability to communicate in her mind. "N, you were too hasty. You shouldn't have stopped Ghetsis from breaking through the barrier around the Relic Castle."
