After the Lake Trio’s mental-space trial left Ye Lan exhausted, Uxie restored his depleted mental power, and Ye Lan discovered that his Pokémon had grown stronger from experiencing champion-class power. The Lake Trio refused to identify the mysterious “they,” while Azelf produced a stone for the trial’s next step.

• The Lake Trio blamed one another for the trouble in Azelf’s mental space before joining forces to blame Azelf.
• Ye Lan pretended that his mental power was failing, and Mesprit confirmed his account after sensing that he was telling the truth.
• Uxie healed Ye Lan’s depleted mental power but could not determine what was wrong with his body.
• Azelf apologized for the intrusion that had disrupted the trial, but the Lake Trio refused to explain who “they” were.
• Ye Lan found that Serperior had reached late Gym Leader level, Rillaboom had reached mid Gym Leader level, and Leafeon had advanced to peak Professional level.
