Before Li Shun's eyes, a wondrous giant tree seemed to appear, stretching across past and present and holding up the cosmos.

The divine tree had long since broken. Its sky-blotting crown and lush branches were gone. Only a severed trunk stood alone upon the vast earth. The tree was broken, but its will endured.

Chi's roots had long since plunged like hidden dragons into the depths, buried beneath the thick earth.

They crossed and intertwined, spreading to the ends of the sky.

Like a vast net, they seemed to encompass every living being between heaven and earth.

All things sprang to life through Chi, and all living beings met their end with him.

Beside that divine tree spanning heaven and earth, Li Shun's consciousness was as small as an ant.

Yet somehow, he and the divine tree shared an inexplicable connection.

His chant made Azure Wood's broken trunk tremble gently;

His gaze followed those roots into the depths and swept across every corner of the world in an instant.

Every breath he took seemed to resonate with the divine tree.

The life force of heaven and earth was his to command!

Endless life force, brimming with the power of creation, rode the long wind into Li Shun's body like a tsunami. Driven by that surging vitality, his body swelled visibly. Muscles knotted; skin stretched taut.

"Such powerful life—" Li Qing was still marveling beside him when his expression changed drastically.

"Something's wrong! Brother, stop!"

Li Shun knew something was wrong too.

That vast life force had become a raging flood, far beyond what his frail body could withstand.

He immediately shut his mouth and stopped chanting.

But it was no use!

The life force he had summoned kept roaring into every limb and bone without pause.
