The most famous was the Time Sand Sea in Great Qian's northwest. Boundless yellow sands shrouded that place, where time was chaotic and twisted. Once, someone had wandered in by mistake and emerged a day later with a head of snow-white hair. Others had been swallowed by the desert and vanished for decades, only to reappear looking exactly as they had back then, even their lifespan unchanged. It was exceedingly strange and sinister.

"You overpraise this old man. I do not deserve to be called 'Elder Zheng' by you, sir. In the future, you may simply address me by name, Guardian," Zheng Zhi said, his face filled with unease.
