After sorting through every immortal-learning skill he had ever dabbled in within the Crimson Dragon Treasure Pagoda, and making some progress in each, he began trying his hand at other branches of immortal learning he had never explored before, swallowing them whole without fully digesting them in hopes of gaining another inheritance from the pagoda.
To his regret, the Crimson Dragon Treasure Pagoda was not so easily fooled.
Even with the Dao Inscription assisting him, and with tens of thousands of immortal tomes stored within it, containing every craft from the Nine Branches of Immortal Learning—
when he began studying them on the spot in the secret chamber and achieved a measure of success, he still failed to trigger the opening of the corresponding chambers.
It was as if the Crimson Dragon Treasure Pagoda could guess his intentions.
Soon, after Fang Shu finished with one old secret chamber and stepped into the next—
what appeared before him was a cultivation method titled <Scarlet Star Golden Might Foundation-Building Method>.
Its characters were still engraved across the chamber's walls, ceiling, and floor. Complex and exquisitely detailed, the cryptic script was beyond counting. Fang Shu gave it a cursory examination and found that the Crimson Dragon Treasure Pagoda remained exceedingly generous.
Like the Refining Qi methods, this Foundation Establishment art openly laid out the cultivation steps for undergoing the seventh through ninth tribulations, without concealing anything.
The corresponding medicines, ritual procedures, and even certain supporting spells were all included in full.
As Fang Shu compared them carefully, the faint disappointment in his heart vanished like smoke in the wind.
His eyes filled with repeated astonishment.
