A large sea vessel was docked at the harbor.
The ship was filled with young people who were all about to head toward the Wizard Continent.
Over a dozen identical ships were moored in the harbor, making their final preparations.
The wizards had left the ships to visit the surrounding cities, gathering the young people who had the potential to become wizard apprentices.
In a mid-level cabin of one of the ships, a young man with black hair was busy at work.
It was a relatively cramped cabin; the floor had been cleared, and a complex sorcery pattern had been drawn in blood.
He was Charles. He had obtained a strange incantation from others on the journey, which was rumored to allow one to improve their wizard constitution by offering Magic Stones, making it easier to become a wizard apprentice—or even reach the rank of a wizard all the faster!
Charles was extremely busy, constantly drawing specific runes within the blood-drawn magic circle on the floor.
Finally, gritting his teeth, he pulled some black stones from his robes; these were the universal currency of the Wizard World.
Magic Stones!
He placed the Magic Stones on one side of the blood circle, and on the other, he placed a white goat he had purchased, its four hooves bound tightly.
A female!
After preparing everything, Charles knelt respectfully in the center of the circle and began to chant a prayer to an unknown entity in a low voice.
"..."
"I offer you this sacrifice, praying for your power to descend!"
As the prayer concluded, the blood circle began to emit a faint red glow.
Wisps of black mist gradually permeated the surroundings. The pile of Magic Stones began to fade in color, one by one, before quietly crumbling into a heap of powder.
The white goat, which had been tied up securely, was now overcome with terror and tried to struggle, but it was all in vain.
Charles watched this with excitement, muttering, "It worked! It worked!"
The next moment, the wisps of black mist converged, seemingly forming a red-glowing eye in front of him, and a voice filled with enchantment drifted out:
"Mortal, I am Delis. Are you the one who summoned me?"
Charles's body trembled with uncontrollable excitement. He knelt on the ground, his voice shaking as he said respectfully, "Oh, powerful Delis, it is I who summoned you. Please, grant me your power!"
From within the black mist came Delis's enchanting laughter, a sound that made Charles's face flush red.
Delis said, "Mortal, I shall satisfy you!"
"But the sacrifice you offered is not enough to summon me forth. Are you willing to help me?"
Charles's face turned bright red with excitement: "I am willing! I am willing!"
"It is time! I shall grant you power now!"
The next moment, the white goat died without a sound, its soul cast into the black mist.
"Tap... tap-tap..."
Under Charles's tense gaze, a tall, graceful figure seemed to emerge from the black mist, stirring it as she slowly condensed and manifested before him.
Charles's face gradually turned pale, his eyes fixed in a stare.
Before him stood a woman so stunningly beautiful that words could hardly describe her.
Her skin was fair, and a cascade of long black hair fell over her chest. Her face was exquisite, her red lips curled into a slight smile, and her eyes were filled with allure.
Her entire body was practically bare, save for a few simple strips of cloth covering the essential areas.
As she swayed her body, the skin beneath the cloth was visible, teasing and shy.
Delis's body featured black markings and natural, smooth scales, with two delicate, bony horns atop her head.
A slender snake-like tail swayed slowly behind her, the tip shaped like an arrowhead.
Her thighs were smooth and long, fair and tender, yet her feet were like those of a goat.
The sight of this beauty who had quietly appeared made Charles's face go pale; his throat bobbed as he swallowed involuntarily.
The obvious exotic features on her body did not scare Charles; instead, they made him feel an intense, abnormal temptation.
Delis swayed her waist and walked up to Charles. Looking down at him as he knelt on the ground, she giggled, "What a handsome mortal... I suppose I'll be generous with you this time!"
But Charles only felt his body drifting away.
Wisps of soul energy were being continuously absorbed by the blood circle beneath his feet to maintain the projection of Delis.
"Ah!"
With a mournful cry, before Delis could even get close.
Charles's life... ended right there!
Delis approached Charles. The man on the floor was now pale and blue, his body unchanged, but his soul had already vanished.
"Hiccup~"
"Trash."
Delis devoured Charles's soul and let out a milky burp. Looking down at Charles on the floor, she said in a regretful, coquettish voice, "Foolish mortal, the sacrifice you offered was too meager. I can only use your soul to continue summoning my projection."
"What a pity~"
After saying this, Delis looked around the cabin, her eyes filled with desire.
However, her projected body began to fade uncontrollably, on the verge of vanishing.
Yet, the next moment, the scene of Delis fading came to a halt.
Because Charles... stood up again!
"Ugh!"
Charles, lying on the floor, let out a long, drawn-out breath before suddenly sitting bolt upright.
His eyes held only astonishment; he did not understand why he was here.
Charles's mind was a complete mess. Hadn't he just had a stroke of luck? Even if he were alive, shouldn't he be in the hospital undergoing emergency treatment?
Where was this?
Meanwhile, Delis, whose projection had been nearly dissipated, discovered to her surprise that she could exist for a while longer.
She looked at the resurrected Charles with bewitching eyes and said in shock, "How are you not dead!?"
Hearing the woman's voice, Charles followed the sound.
At a single glance, he saw Delis, who was so revealing she practically required censorship.
Having been baptized by countless Japanese adult films, Charles recognized at once that she was not human!
Isn't this a Succubus!?
Delis's eyes held only pleasant surprise as she cooed, "How did you know I wasn't full yet!"
"Handsome mortal, here I come!"
Charles scrambled to his feet to run, but Delis flicked her finger, and Charles found himself uncontrollably frozen in place.
As Delis's slender, fair fingers traced his skin, the only parts of Charles's body that could still move were his goosebumps and his little brother.
Delis pushed Charles down.
Unable to move his body, Charles screamed internally, No! Don't!
He had no idea how he had ended up here, or why there was a Succubus; furthermore, the fact that she could immobilize him with a flick of her finger was clearly wrong!
Charles was fine with playing out a scenario, but actually encountering a Succubus terrified him. Would he be drained dry!?
Lying on the floor, Charles felt as if he were already being drained dry by the Succubus.
Just then, a crisp sound rang in his ears:
"Ding!"
"Welcome to the Wu Duo Duo Mall!"
