Lucky Enough

In the Wizard World.

Several avatars of Seven-Ring Wizard Kings remained within the Wizard World.

They conversed above the dome.

The Thousand-Faced Wizard King said, "Take a guess—now that the Shadow Nightmare Realm has surfaced, do you think another Seven-Ring Wizard King will emerge?"

One Wizard King said, "Over the years, I have been able to sense a gaze scanning through my past."

"I remember that, in the past, only that big head in the Shadow Nightmare Realm did this sort of thing."

"But this time, I can't trace that gaze back to whoever was looking."

"If I'm not mistaken, it should be that being who ascended to Rank 7 within the Shadow Nightmare Realm."

The Thousand-Faced Wizard King said, "I think there's a good chance it's that fellow Charles."

He asked the First Flame Wizard King, "Do you really not know how Charles gathered so much source power?"

The First Flame Wizard King said, "Perhaps he was lucky enough. Or perhaps the source power he possessed was all information given to him directly by that being within the Shadow Nightmare Realm."

A Wizard King agreed. "Very possible."

"That big head in the Shadow Nightmare Realm has peered into who knew how many secrets of the multiverse."

The Thousand-Faced Wizard King asked, "Why didn't you chat more with that big head in the Shadow Nightmare Realm back then? What if you could have obtained source power from him?"

The avatar of the Wizard King who had attacked the First Flame Wizard King back then said, "That world is too special. Once I became a Six-Ring Wizard, I could no longer enter it."

"It seemed that someone was refusing me entry into that plane."

"If Charles truly entered it, perhaps he was someone chosen by that big head."
