The Omniscient One (II)

Charles remained inside the mind of Ultimus, the Omniscient One.

From the moment Ultimus was born until now.

This was the first time he had spoken.

And what he said was a question about Charles's existence.

Charles could not answer him, so the Omniscient One began to think.

Clearly, he was still very far from true omniscience.

Because he had not even gained complete control over his own body.

And at this moment, Charles was greedily absorbing everything he needed from Ultimus's skull.

Within Ultimus's brain lay all knowledge of the multiverse's past.

As he contemplated Charles's existence.

Storms seemed to rise within his mind.

This truly was a brainstorm.

And Charles could effortlessly understand everything Ultimus knew.

The Omniscient One's power came not only from the many source powers he possessed, but also from the accumulation of countless volumes of knowledge.

As Charles learned.

Ultimus, the Omniscient One, finally began to act.

He was no longer satisfied with merely understanding history. He began to thirst for knowledge of everything in the future.

But the future had yet to occur. And Ultimus, the Omniscient One, could not set foot in the River of Time.

Thus, while Charles frantically stole all of Ultimus's knowledge.

Ultimus was likewise studying the aura brought by the anomalous existence of Charles within his mind.

He could not wield this dense aura of the River of Time, but he could study it and gradually come to understand the River of Time.

Throughout this process, the two maintained a peculiar tacit understanding.

Charles learned more and more knowledge; to understand was to wield.

Throughout the multiverse, these source powers were absorbed by Ultimus, the Omniscient One.

This made Ultimus even more powerful than before.

But such power meant nothing to him.
