Selena brought Elendil his afternoon tea, but the moment she entered, she saw the smile on his face.
She immediately asked curiously, "Father, what did you see that made you so happy?"
Elendil had no intention of hiding it. "It is intelligence from deep within the Land of Chaos, concerning Imril."
The moment Selena heard Imril's name, her ears practically perked up.
"News of Lord Imril? Father, hurry and tell me. I've been so worried about him."
Seeing his daughter like this, Elendil said, "After Imril ventured deep into the Land of Chaos, the first enemy he provoked was the Howling Children of the Wasteland. This Sun Elf truly has some nerve."
Her heart instantly tightened at those words.
The Howling Children of the Wasteland had quite a reputation in these lands.
In terms of raw strength, they were only a notch weaker than Verdant Crystal Domain, but they were still formidable foes.
Selena asked nervously, "Lord Imril only left with three hundred recruits. How did he end up provoking the Howling Children of the Wasteland? They did not run into danger, did they? Is he all right now?"
"Father, how about dispatching the Emerald Crystal Knights to reinforce Lord Imril?"
