After Anderson advanced to Wizard Sage, there would also be a grand ceremony.
But that would require at least one or two years of preparation.
All of Isata's Wizard Sages would need to return to participate.
Preparing the ceremony would also take a long time.
So Anderson and his students were able to relax for the time being.
That day, Charles, Aiden, and Anderson were chatting idly.
Charles asked, "Teacher, after you advanced to Wizard Sage, did you agree to any conditions from Isata?"
Hearing this, Anderson sighed and said, "Of course I did."
"Not only Isata—even the other Wizard Sages who voted in favor of me, I agreed to quite a few of their conditions."
"I need to serve Isata for several centuries, though that is not particularly important."
"I have only just become a fourth-ring wizard. Although my rank has risen, to possess the true power of a Wizard Sage, I still need to conduct research and improve my wizardry."
"I do not plan to leave Isata during these several centuries anyway. At most, I will manage my ocean plane."
"I should remain in Isata for all these years."
"If you encounter any problems in your cultivation from now on, you can come ask me. I will answer them for you."
"Back when I was a third-ring wizard, there were some problems for which I had no good solution."
"Now that I am a fourth-ring Sage, things are vastly different!"
Charles and Aiden both revealed delighted expressions.
Then Anderson looked at his two students, both third-ring grand wizards, and said, "Charles has already walked his own path. He has his own plane, and from what I can see now, Charles even intends to develop in the Abyss."
"Have you been in the Abyss recently?"
Anderson looked at Charles.
