He wore a set of heavy, simple armor, and his massive weapon had been casually placed at the foot of the throne.
The surrounding demon lords stood casually, some of them even muttering softly among themselves.
There were more than a dozen demon lords here alone. There were even more Greater Demons, at least forty or fifty.
Charles silently calculated and thought, Could all these powerful demons be the entirety of this Abyss Grand Lord's strength?
"But even this force alone is far too powerful!"
More than a dozen fifth- and sixth-rank demon lords, along with dozens of fourth-rank Greater Demons.
Such a force could easily tear Isata apart, even tear it apart several times over.
Not to mention there was also a seventh-rank demon grand lord.
Charles silently found a corner in the great hall and stayed there. He asked the Book of Causal Paths, "Hachiwote is a seventh-rank existence in this layer of the Abyss."
"Is that because he has received the blessing of this layer of the Abyss, or because his own strength has already reached the seventh rank?"
The Book of Causal Paths wrote, "I cannot tell for now. At the very least, I must wait until he enters the Purgatory world and loses that blessing before I can see clearly."
"Do not worry. It will not take long to reach the Purgatory world from here."
Seeing this, Charles felt somewhat reassured.
