Not long after the battle began, Charles claimed the first victory.
The Abyssal Will churned in the sky, conveying its delight to Charles.
As the first demon to achieve a kill in this battle, Charles received an additional reward.
A complete Abyssal rule quietly emerged within Charles's soul. Once this battle ended, he would presumably be able to master that rule.
Having made his kill and dug out the devil's heart core, Charles casually stored the corpse in his spatial equipment as well.
During this time,
the surrounding towers and the devil troops on the ground had all gone mad, continuously attacking Charles.
Dense barrages of spell-like attacks and arrows rained down on Charles like a storm.
Facing these attacks that were no more than insects' harassment, Charles gave a vicious grin.
He stomped hard, and waves of flame surged outward beneath his feet.
Rumble!!
The densely packed Legion Devils on the ground were sent flying by the flames, burned into lumps of charred black coal before they even hit the ground.
The bases of several nearby towers were smashed apart by the fiery tide with teeth-grating cracks, and then the entire towers shattered and collapsed.
"Aaaah!"
The mercenaries and devils stationed within the spired towers screamed before being buried beneath the rubble.
With a roar, Charles teleported away from that position and returned to the sky.
He quickly selected a new opponent.
Two Pit Fiends were besieging a Greater Demon.
That Greater Demon was already covered in wounds and had been beaten badly.
Yet the Greater Demon showed no fear. Instead, it was exceptionally arrogant, willing to suffer injuries as long as it could leave wounds on its opponents.
Charles swept his gaze over the battlefield. This was quite a suitable place.
That Greater Demon had already begun fighting
