Mark went on to describe the other sixth-rank demon lord.
Mark said, "My lord, Anog is another demon lord. This demon lord has a terrible reputation."
"After returning to his own territory, he swallowed all the warehouses belonging to the merchants in his domain in a single gulp."
"I heard that his injuries were severe, so he devoured the merchants' stockpiles."
"Now, almost no news can come out of his territory. This demon lord has offended all the merchants."
"Most demons do not support him, but he is very powerful."
"There are rumors that during this period, he and Kolsama Dalle have gone to war several times."
"However, no one knows the exact outcome of those battles."
Charles nodded upon hearing this. These two sixth-rank demon lords certainly did not want other demons to know how their battles were going.
They were sixth-rank, not invincible. Once their weaknesses were exposed, even they would not be able to withstand being besieged.
Mark said tentatively, "I heard that the fifth-rank demon lord in a certain territory has been frequently flying into rages lately, roaring and cursing Anog's name."
"There are rumors that Anog may have set his sights on that fifth-rank demon lord and is looking for an opportunity to eat him."
Charles was startled inwardly.
If Anog intends to make a move against demon lords, this is bad.
If he does that, then I am not safe either.
A fifth-rank demon lord definitely could not defeat a sixth-rank one. He might even be crushed with ease.
Only with greater numbers would there be any chance of defeating a sixth-rank opponent.
But how could demon lords possibly trust one another, much less coordinate their attacks?
If Anog devoured a fifth-rank demon lord, then Kolsama would very likely make his move as well.
