A spinal chain slowly rose, lifting the book before Omniscient Carbuncle. Its twisted face became even more agonized.
"Answer me!"

Omniscient Carbuncle let out a roar. The next moment, it swallowed the book whole.

With a crisp snap, the spinal chain was bitten through, and the book fell into Omniscient Carbuncle's mouth.
Sharp teeth sank into the book, piercing it with ease before tearing the entire thing to shreds.

At first, the book's agonized howls came from within Omniscient Carbuncle's mouth, but they soon turned into cries of liberation.
Omniscient Carbuncle snorted. "Liberation!"

Then Omniscient Carbuncle turned its gaze back to Charles and said, "You answered correctly. Now tell me, do you wish to return to the Wizard World?"
"But your companion still hasn't answered her question correctly. Are you going to abandon her?"
Omniscient Carbuncle shook its exposed brain matter, its eyeballs fixed on Charles as it grinned.
