The Chaos Sea was still slowly rising.
The pitch-black surface gradually swallowed more and more things, all of it unfolding within endless darkness.
Beneath the surface, chaotic and bloody battles raged one after another.
Countless savage demon shadows fought and devoured one another. Some even dared to challenge the Destroyers transformed from the remnants of worlds.
Even though the final outcome of such battles was always victory for the Destroyers.
The savage demon shadows that died did not truly die. Some of their bodies were devoured by other demon shadows.
And the remaining fragments were transformed by the waters of the Chaos Sea into new demon shadows.
They were the darlings of the Chaos Sea, the earliest creations of chaos.
These demon shadows had once been known as Chaos Worms.
These Chaos Worms were born within the Chaos Sea. They were the children of the Chaos Sea.
Within the Chaos Sea, they would never die completely. As long as they continued devouring seawater, their power would continue to grow.
These Chaos Worms possessed neither good nor evil, only the most primal desires to devour and slaughter.
Compared to them, even the demons of the Bottomless Abyss seemed like little sweethearts.
Demons were merely chaotic. They were still living beings, with their own preferences and interests. There might even be some kind demons among them.
But Chaos Worms had none of that. They were chaos, and chaos was them. Chaos Worms and chaos were two sides of the same coin.
As the Chaos Sea continued to rise, more and more Chaos Worms appeared with it. Some Destroyers had already begun to be devoured by Chaos Worms.
Or rather, the Destroyers and Chaos Worms merged with each other. Whether a Destroyer killed a Chaos Worm, or an enormous and powerful Chaos Worm
