The portal had opened.

The first batch of Death Vanguards squeezed out of the portal.

In the eyes of the Death Vanguards, the lives of Cow Dung and his brothers were not worth mentioning.

As one Death Vanguard spoke, he swung his sword and ended the lives of Cow Dung and his brothers.

As for Cow Dung not being completely dead yet, that could only be considered good luck. With only half his body left, Cow Dung would not live for more than a few minutes.

Three Death Vanguards rose into the air and swept through the surrounding area in low flight, killing every living thing nearby.

No living intelligent life could be allowed around the portal. The more they killed, the longer they could delay the portal's discovery.

It was the estate of a baronet. A baronet ranked one level above a knight and was considered the lowest tier of nobility.

There were more than a dozen living people in the manor, most of them the baronet's servants—cooks, gardeners, and stewards.

The baronet, who had been watching his slaves work in his own courtyard, saw the savage Death Vanguard suddenly fly in.

The maids' screams jolted the baronet awake. He knew this was the invader from another plane that the kingdom and the Church had spoken of nearly a year ago.

The baronet wanted to return to the house, put on his armor, take up his weapons, and fight the invader in a bloody battle.

But he could do nothing. As the Death Vanguard released its heavy pressure, Sword Qi swept out.

Not a single person in the manor could survive.
