News of an overwhelmingly powerful newcomer arriving in Beast Valley quickly reached the ears of the major leaders.

Here, aside from challengers who had failed and could not leave, forced to remain in Beast Valley, the "residents" of Beast Valley were more often Magic Beasts who had failed so completely they could never rise again. Based on their differing ideals, these residents formed three major factions.

To survive, they had no choice but to join one of five Magic Beast groups whose management was relatively lax but whose internal interests were tightly bound together.
