Ye Feng survived his Karma Fire, built a circle of allies, and strengthened himself while seeking a way to control his flames. The arc leaves him back at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well with Ah Yin restored and a mysterious iron plate to investigate.

• Ye Feng activated the Gold Trait System, chose four traits, and survived the flames that awakened his Nether Karma Fire Phoenix with the Snow Empress's help.
• Ye Feng traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest, claimed a Soul Ring, and took the Blue Silver Emperor and its Soul Bone from its hidden cave.
• Ye Feng used the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well to gain an Ice and Fire Golden Body, helped Dugu Bo address his poison, and strengthened his Soul Power and Martial Soul.
• Ye Feng enrolled at Skywater Academy and met Shui Bing'er, whose Ice Phoenix later reached Ultimate Ice and helped balance his Karma Fire.

• Ye Feng reached level forty and earned his fiftieth consecutive arena victory as Karma Fire Phoenix, while Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun fought Liu Mang in Heaven Dou City.
• Ye Feng bought a dark-red iron plate from a stall after Ning Rongrong helped him bargain, then returned to find Ah Yin restored to human form beside the Blue Silver Emperor.
• Ah Yin chose to remain at the well until she settled her old ties, and Ye Feng asked the Snow Empress what the iron plate contained.

Ye Feng hunted powerful Soul Beasts, gained a new transformation, and drew attention through arena victories and clashes with Yu Tianheng and Shrek Academy. After he and Shui Bing'er defeated Zhao Wuji, Dugu Bo drove him off, while Ice Empress arrived at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well and Ye Feng recognized her.

• Ye Feng and Shui Bing'er hunted a Mystic Ice Cold Kite in the Star Dou Great Forest, and Shui Bing'er gained the Extreme Ice Divine Phoenix Armor.
• Ye Feng and Shui Bing'er weakened a Blazing Flame Phoenix, which crashed among black-clad pursuers chasing Zhu Zhuqing and killed all but their leader.
• Ye Feng killed the leader, protected Zhu Zhuqing, and let her travel with him and Shui Bing'er before she departed with a storage ring and herbs he gave her.
• Ye Feng absorbed the Blazing Flame Phoenix’s Soul Ring, resisted its remnant soul, and gained Karma Fire Phoenix Transformation.
• Ye Feng defeated Ma Hongjun in the arena, burning him so badly that Shao Xin said his injuries could not be healed.
• Ye Feng revealed his Soul Rings to Yu Tianheng and knocked him unconscious with one punch after demanding that he kneel and leave Heaven Dou City.
• Ye Feng joined Shui Bing'er in using Ice-Fire Origin: Twin Phoenix Dance to defeat Zhao Wuji, then Dugu Bo broke Zhao Wuji’s arm and poisoned him.
• Flender ruled out revenge against Ye Feng because Dugu Bo backed him, while Ice Empress arrived at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well and Ye Feng recognized her.
