Background / History

Tang Hao abandoned or betrayed the Clear Sky Sect for A-Yin, a hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor spirit beast. Six years after A-Yin’s sacrifice, he lived in Holy Soul Village with their son, Tang San, while concealing his identity and protecting A-Yin’s remaining Blue Silver Grass form in a cave behind a waterfall. 15 17

Lin Jing’s innate full spirit power and Blue Silver Grass martial soul draw Tang Hao’s attention. Suspecting either twin martial souls or a Blue Silver Emperor, Tang Hao abducts and interrogates Lin Jing in a secluded area. When Lin Jing reveals a black-red, mutated Blue Silver King, Tang Hao accepts the explanation, apologizes, and allows him to leave. 15 16

Soon afterward, Lin Jing uses an Emperor Jing Fragment to confront Tang Hao while posing as “Emperor Jing.” Tang Hao is overwhelmingly defeated, loses A-Yin’s hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor right-leg spirit bone, and then watches Lin Jing take A-Yin herself. His attempt to retaliate with his Clear Sky Hammer and ring detonation fails; the lightning attack leaves one of his legs paralyzed. 16 17 18

By the time Tang San leaves for Nuoding Primary Soul Master Academy, Tang Hao has changed his approach. He urges Tang San not to provoke Lin Jing and to tolerate him, fearing further consequences for himself, Tang San, and the Clear Sky Sect. 31

Tang Hao normally hides himself beneath a black robe while living in Holy Soul Village. 15

Personality

Tang Hao is suspicious and forceful when he believes Tang San or A-Yin may be threatened. His investigation of Lin Jing escalates from surveillance to abduction and spiritual-pressure interrogation, based largely on his own assumptions about Lin Jing’s martial soul. 15 16

His devotion to A-Yin is his central vulnerability. He endures humiliation and surrenders the spirit bone rather than risk her safety, then unleashes his full strength only after Lin Jing removes her from the cave. 16 17

After being defeated, Tang Hao becomes fearful of provoking Lin Jing. He suppresses Tang San’s plan for revenge and explicitly instructs his son to avoid conflict with him. 18 31 32
