Hunting for Spirit Rings

Han Bing naturally agreed to this proposal; having a Super Douluo as a backer was, of course, for the best.

Han Bing hurriedly knelt on one knee and said sincerely:

"Disciple Han Bing pays respects to Master!"

"Good, good, good. Rise quickly, disciple. From now on, you are my, Guang Ling Douluo's, personal disciple. This is my Spirit Hall Elder Token; to see this is to see me. Take it, disciple!"

Han Bing accepted it, and then saw Guang Ling Douluo take an icy-blue, crystal-like belt from his robes. It was incredibly beautiful as he said:

"This is the Crystal Bright Moon, a soul tool capable of storing items. Take these as your master's gift for accepting you as a disciple."

Guang Ling Douluo was very happy. He had brought out his own treasured possessions and intended to cultivate Han Bing with all his might. Furthermore, he felt that with Han Bing's existence, his own spirit power might even achieve an unprecedented breakthrough.

Han Bing accepted the gifts and thanked him.

Bibi Dong had been one step too slow. She had also been moved to take a disciple, but she had not expected Han Bing to agree so quickly, leaving her unable to voice her intent.

As they both possess the ice attribute, Guang Ling Douluo is indeed the best teacher. Elder Chrysanthemum, go and see how the matter regarding Qian Renxue is proceeding."

Chrysanthemum Douluo departed.

On the other side, Guang Ling Douluo brought Han Bing to the Star Dou Forest and said to him:

"Your first spirit ring can absorb at most 423 years. I recommend a spirit beast of around four hundred years. We will hunt for your Candy Spirit first, and after you reach the Title Douluo rank, we will hunt for ten-thousand-year spirit rings for your Six-Pointed Ice Star."

"Disciple, once you reach that point, you will be the number one person on the continent! Just thinking about it is exciting! Han Bing nodded. It seemed that anyone at the Title Douluo level was very knowledgeable about the cultivation of spirits.

Suddenly, a black figure flashed by. Han Bing's brow tightened as he looked over.

He gave chase.

Although Guang Ling Douluo was waiting in place, he kept his attention on Han Bing at all times. This was his beloved disciple, after all, so he monitored his every move.

He discovered that Han Bing's sensory abilities also seemed to far exceed those of an ordinary person.

Han Bing gave chase, and suddenly the spirit beast stopped. Immediately, three more of the same kind emerged from the surroundings, all of them pitch black.

They were black cheetahs with eyes glowing red.

On their black fur was a lightning rune. This spirit beast was known as a Lightning Fierce Leopard, a speed-type spirit beast.

Not far away, Guang Ling Douluo watched it all.

The four Lightning Cheetahs launched a fierce attack, moving as fast as lightning.

He leaped suddenly, dodging with great speed.

"My disciple's reaction speed is truly impressive!"

Seeing this, Guang Ling's worried heart gradually settled.

The four Lightning Cheetahs launched a violent assault, surrounding Han Bing. Their Rending Claws unleashed bolts of lightning as they charged at him.

Seeing this, Guang Ling already had his spirit in hand; at the slightest sign of danger, he would fire an arrow.

But Han Bing performed a backflip, dodging the attacks of the four Lightning Cheetahs. Instantly, the power of the Freeze-Freeze Fruit erupted, combined with his Armament Haki.

With a sudden burst, in just a split second, the four Lightning Cheetahs were frozen into blocks of ice, becoming ice sculptures, unable to move.

Following this, Han Bing struck with both fists, his Armament Haki-coated hands shattering the ice. The four Lightning Cheetahs died miserably at Han Bing's hands.

Guang Ling, who had already drawn his bow, slowly put his spirit away.

He was filled with shock. A six-year-old child, though a twin-spirit user, was actually able to hunt four four-hundred-year-old spirit beasts alone. It was truly unprecedented.

Moreover, the eruption of that icy aura just now seemed to be a domain-type skill.

Anything that came close would be frozen. Could it be that this was a domain skill inherent to his spirit?
