Benjamin's expression did not change much. He swept his gaze over the officials around him, thought for a moment, and said, "It would naturally be best if Your Excellency understands. I wonder if you could help persuade your colleagues?"
Although this senior adviser appeared to be speaking up for him, Benjamin could actually sense the division of labor between the good cop and the bad cop. These people were echoing one another, as though they wanted to work together to push him out.
So instead, he tossed the question back at the other man.
Spencer smiled. "That is what I have been striving to do all along."
"Then Your Excellency must be very supportive of our plan to establish a branch academy in Caritas, right?" Benjamin smiled as well. "We're really only here to do business and collect some tuition fees. There's no need to make such a huge fuss. If Your Excellency nods in approval and His Majesty has no objections, then we'll get started."

Thus, even this senior adviser was forced into showing a somewhat awkward expression.
