Why is it that transmigrated protagonists always immediately inherit the memories of their predecessors and start a new life without any obstacles?

Why does everyone who transmigrates always wake up nicely in bed, with a younger sister (or older sister, or maid) beside them, tears and snot streaming down, saying, "Thank goodness! You're finally awake!"

What if the protagonist, upon transmigrating, finds himself kidnapped, with several perverted witches waving whips? What to do?

"Will you confess or not!"

The protagonist, utterly dumbfounded: "Lady, who are you?"
