The most common research methods in the world of magic involved all kinds of dissection. Slice up Magic Beasts to make medicine, slice up elemental plants to make tools... A ghost was clearly a creature beyond their common sense. Ordinary methods would definitely be useless, so they could only conduct the simplest observations.
Benjamin stroked his chin and suddenly thought of Mind Arts.
If he brought those two siblings here, they should have a different perspective on this thing, right?
And so, the ghost's release came to a temporary end. The mages decided to starve it for a few days first and see what changes occurred afterward, then study matters such as its feeding process and the principles behind its illusions. The ghost was kept here anyway; it had nowhere to run.
After the last mage left the laboratory, Benjamin summoned the two siblings.

The moment they saw the ghost, the siblings were badly startled. The girl had clearly not completely cast aside her former faith. After recovering herself, she took a deep breath and spoke nervously.
